Kitchen hack of the week: 

Tired of the same old seasoning for your roast veggies? Add some pizazz with this tip.

Put 4 or 5 whole cloves of garlic, peeled, in amongst the veg. When the roasting is done, take those cloves and mash them with a tablespoon or two of lemon juice and some black pepper. Stir this back into the veg. Delicious!

Health tip of the week:

The fancy term for the bacteria that live in our guts is called the gut microbiota and it pays to look after these little guys. Simple ways to make sure that your gut microbiota stays healthy are to avoid processed and sugary foods, include fermented foods such as kombucha, kefir and sauerkraut in your diet and be sure to eat enough fibre.
